Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Huff platform, including the website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Huff Intelligence, LLC ("Huff", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eligibility

The Service is designed for business use by professionals in the construction industry and its supply chain. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information current.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required to do so by law.

Permitted use

The Service provides construction sales intelligence, including permit data, satellite imagery, and related analytics. You may use the Service for your internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not: (a) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its data; (b) use the Service to build a competing product; (c) scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service through automated means; (d) attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service; or (e) use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law.

Data and public records

The Service aggregates and presents data from public record sources, including government permit filings and publicly available satellite imagery. We present this data as it is filed. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any public record.

Satellite imagery shown in the Service contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data. This imagery is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a survey, inspection, or professional assessment of any kind.

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment advice, legal advice, or a professional recommendation. You are responsible for your own business decisions.

Intellectual property

The Service, its design, features, and original content are owned by Huff Intelligence, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public records and open data presented through the Service retain their original terms.

You retain ownership of any data you create within the Service, such as notes, company records, and route plans.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data presented through the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Huff Intelligence, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at hello@huffintel.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
